- 2. Identify the attitudes, thoughts, and beliefs that support and produce that behavior. What is it that you believe, that causes you to do or avoid doing this particular thing?
- 3. Identify the input that has produced the belief. What were you taught? What have you heard from others? What have you experienced when it comes to work, business, weight loss, relationships, or just life performance? What has manufactured and solidified this belief?
- 4. Now, analytically and carefully question each of those sources for the belief. Are they validated by evidence or are they just opinions?Are they antiquated? Have conditions changed significantly since the idea was provided to you? Have you changed? Has your surroundings changed? Hold each individual , isolated "item" that contributed to your governing belief up to the bright light of intelligent, unemotional scrutiny.
